Anniversaries and Eating!
Nine years?!
That's right - Mark and I have been married for nine years today!! When Mark and I were engaged, I had pictured myself being married to Mark for a long time, but I had no idea how hard that road would be. Don't get me wrong, we certainly had some good times, but I was not prepared for the bad that came along with them. It's taken a lot of work to get to where we are, and in my mind, going through what we have been through and staying married is a HUGE accomplishment on our parts. Of course, he still gets on my nerves from time to time (and vice versa, I'm sure), but our relationship is incredibly strong and I don't see myself going anywhere else. Here's to many more, my love!
Cheat days!
After boasting that I had lost 6 pounds, I gained 3 back. Oops. It's amazing how just a couple of "naughty" days can affect your progress! I'd say I'm back on the right track, but we're going to Benihana tomorrow night to celebrate our anniversary, and Red Robin tonight as a "this is our actual anniversary and we don't want to sit at home and eat leftovers" kind of celebration lol.
I am, however, still fast food free! Sort of... I may have had some chicken fingers and a few fries at the zoo on Saturday. Guilty!! But I haven't gone through any drive thrus or been to an actual fast food joint, so I'm good, right?
Nope. I caved and had a couple of sodas over the weekend, too!! I couldn't stop myself! Let me tell you, I enjoyed every sip. Come Friday, I'm back on the wagon!
What else?
My cravings for fast food have definitely diminished - I still think a Big Mac and some hot, perfectly salted fries sound good (who wouldn't?!), but I wouldn't leave my house to go get some. Besides, I can no longer just grab my purse, hop in the car, and go get me some grub from McDonald's.
Nowadays, here's my process to get out of the house with Bailey:
'Til next time!
Ehh, I started writing about a couple other things but they were majorly lame so I think I'll stop here and go feed my little peanut... she's been sitting in her Rock 'n Play next to me for the last hour happily playing with her toys. She's a good baby. I am definitely blessed.
See y'all next week!

Nowadays, here's my process to get out of the house with Bailey:
- Check her diaper and change it if needed
- Make sure she's dressed appropriately for the weather
- Check to see if diaper bag is stocked
- Buckle her into carseat
- Load myself up with purse and diaper bag
- Carry heavy carseat and all my stuff to car
- Load her into car and make sure she's all set
- Get in car and drive off
'Til next time!
